Warner Cemetery
(Town of Scipio, NY) #182A
This cemetery is so named here for lack of any local appelation and because the only monument of any size bears the name Warner. The location is in the town of Scipio, Cayuga County, NY, Lot 38, just east of Salmon Creek on the south side of the road from Warings Corners on State Route 34 to the Village of Sherwood. It is back from the road some 300 feet and on a rise of ground. (This cemetery is apparently listed in the 1960s inventory compiled by local Historians & the Owasco Chapter D.A.R as "Bolts Corners Cemetery". The cemetery records compiled by Leslie Luther and available at the Cayuga-Owasco Lakes Historical Society list this same cemetery as "Warner Cemetery")
