First wife of Augustus C. Barnes is Sarah Jennie Morton, daughter of Pluma J. Johns and Albert D. Morton
Second wife of Augustus C. Barnes is Lovie F. Morton, daughter of Pluma J. Johns and Albert D. Morton
Florence M. Barnes is the daughter and only child of Augustus and Lovie Barnes. She never married.

Augustus C. Barnes is the son of William Henry Barnes and Gazenah Bradt.
