To: Bernie Corcoran, (Cayuga Co. NYGenWeb Project Coordinator)

I have just become acquainted with the internet & , of course, interested in genealogy.  I started cleaning up the Wilcox Cemetery about 13 years ago. I am a descendant of the Wilcox's from North Lansing & have family buried in the Wilcox Cemetery. I have a more complete listing of all who are buried in this cemetery. You don't mention any Wilcox/Willcox's buried there. There is a huge stone in the front of this cemetery that says Willcox, who at one time owned alot of the land in that area. Willard Willcox, Sarah & another Willcox are buried there. I haven't worked at the cemetery for a couple of years, but found it quite challenging & alot of hard work.
Sincerely,
Mary Wilcox Ackles.
