Following are the names of men from the Town of Sennett
who engaged in the Civil War:
CIVIL WAR VETERANS
Joseph BOWEN, Hurley BOWEN and Delos BOWEN were three brothers. Delos was drowned in the Mississippi River, buried in the Lower Yard (North Cemetery), had a military funeral.

William MILLER and Charles MILLER,brothers, born and lived in Sennett;
went west on a visit, enlisted and went from there; at the close of war
came back to Sennett.
Thomas RELPH drafted, went to Elmira, was classed.
Charles ANDERSON, son of Rev. Charles Anderson (Presbyterian minister),
went to the select scholl, left his books on window sill, went and
enlisted; at close of war, went to Constantinpole, Turkey as a missionary.
Mr. BARRITT left a wife and four small children here in Sennett.
Widow lives in Auburn and is blind; she is knitting for the Red Cross.
Willard CASE and Oscar D. CASE, brothers; home in Navarino; enlisted in
Syracuse; at close of war came to Sennett.
George WEBBER and Ed WEBBER, brothers, killed in the battle at Bull Run.
